David & Accademia Gallery Small Group Tour

The work represents the biblical hero at the moment in which he is preparing to face Golia, the work has always created the ideal of male beauty in art. The gallery represents one of the places with the highest number of sculptures observed by Michelangelo, you'll find also the museum of musical instruments, the largest collection of paintings with a gold background, and the Sala dei Prigioni with sculptures designed for the Pope Julius II.
